Wexford Blooms 2gether Opening Party and Community Planting Day!

Excited to announce that our 2024 plazaPOPS: Wexford Blooms 2gether in the Wexford Heights BIA be officially opening June 15!


Join us for an opening day celebratory party at our hub site (2020 Lawrence Ave E) where we’ll be launching our 2024 season with a community planting day – many hands make light work and we need YOUR help greening the parking lots with native plants from Native Plants in Claremont!

Bring your own sunscreen, garden gloves, and dancing shoes, we’ll be providing extra for people who don’t have their own. Food and drink for amazing local restaurants will be provided! See you there!

plazaPOPS is a part of the The City of Toronto’s Main Street Recovery and Rebuild Initiative, funded by the Federal Development Agency for Southern Ontario

plazaPOPS community Iftaar

We hosted Community Iftaar at Sahan Restaurant in Wexford Heights on March 28th at 7pm. We were so thrilled to host an Iftaar and break bread together to commemorate the month of Ramadan and honour our community members, neighbours and community organizations and develop meaningful relationships and engaging conversations.

Wexford Blooms Harvest Festival

Wexford Blooms Harvest Festival!

2072 Lawrence Ave E

On Oct 14, from 12-6pm at Wexford Plaza (2072 Lawrence Ave E) we will celebrate the all the brilliant community spirit that went into this year’s plazaPOPS in Wexford Heights! 🍁 🍂 🥔🥕🌽

Programmed by the Working Women Community Centre and Scarborough Arts the evening celebration will include music! 🎉food! 🎉 dancing! 🎉 art! 🎉 and merriment! 🎉

We’ll also have a Grow Better Gardens booth, the brilliant vegetable and plant soil and mulch makers who donated all our soil and mulch this year!
