Harvesting + Diwali Festival

OUR LAST EVENT OF THE YEAR! Please join us for a Harvest Festival featuring Diwali celebrations organized by @rexdale_community_hub and @albionislingtonsquare BIA. The exciting celebration will involve: free food, giveaways, DJs and dancing, musical performances, Diwali fireworks 🎆 and the Mobile Sauna by @public.sweat!

Saturday October 22, 1-5pm. This will be your last weekend to visit our @albionislingtonsquare plazaPOPS before they pop down!

Summer of Innovation

This Friday Sep 16, 5-8pm, join us at ThistlePOPS (950 Albion Rd, in front of @growfitness.ca) for “The Summer of Innovation” back-to-school event hosted by @rexdale_community_hub with support from @albionislingtonsquare! Local students will get to meet with exciting STEM (science.technology.engineering.math) partners, while receiving free school supplies, food, and ice cream!

Arts Etobicoke: Music and Dance Celebration

Global Sustainable Foods Market – Sep 17

We are excited to be partnering with @globalsustainablefoods and hosting a series of Farmers Markets at Wexford Blooms! Save the date! On Sep 16, 17 and Oct 14, our hub site at 2072 Lawrence Ave E will be transformed into a vibrant market with music, fresh veggies, and more.

WexPOPS Showcase

Join us on Friday July 28 for our first WexPOPS showcase!
Co-curated by Scarborough Arts, the evening will feature performances by Dira, Neekita Sharma, and Roots and Branches along with an interactive workshop by artist Krystyna Czereyska.

Also: come at 4pm for an urban ecology walk with the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, exploring the native plants we have on site and where they will be planted after our project, in The Meadoway !
